But the drama did not end there. The National Police Service (NPS) accused Samidoh of running a job after failing to report to work on May 27 after the holidays.

According to the National Police Service Act, a police officer who does not participate in work without permission or a valid reason for more than 10 days, is considered to have fled the job, unless otherwise certified.

An officer found guilty of running a job may be fired or closed for up to two years.

However, Samidoh replied by showing a letter indicating that he was given permission to travel to the United States on vacation and was scheduled to return to work on May 27.

While all this was happening, Samidoh was seen in the United States with warmth with Dr. Fred Matiang’i, one of the politicians planning to oppose Ruto’s presidency in the next election.
