“I have never been proud to represent each of you on the field. Your helpless help and love have not passed unnoticed, and I will miss that night together.”

Eriksen scored in United’s final game this season against Aston Villa. The Danish striker returned to football after a sad heart attack in 2021. He joined Red Devils from Brentford.

Lindelof, in turn, has been in the club for eight years after arriving from Benfica.
