Tanzanian Bongo Flava artiste Rajab Abdul Kahali, popularly known as Harmonize, has revealed that he is praying to God to guide the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party leader, President Samia Suluhu, towards victory in the October 2025 elections.
Speaking shortly after a rally where the party unveiled its manifesto on Saturday, June 7, 2025, the ‘Sensema’ crooner expressed that he was seeking divine intervention for President Suluhu because he desired her to be the leader who steers the nation of Tanzania from 2025 into the dawn of a new decade beginning in 2030.
“I have deep faith, alongside many other Tanzanians, that we shall win the election resoundingly; we expect her to lead from this year, two thousand and twenty-five, all the way to the year two thousand and thirty,” Harmonize said.

In addition to that, Harmonize shared that he was praying earnestly for God to instill in President Suluhu the leadership attributes she may require during the crucial term ahead so that she may continue guiding Tanzania with steadfastness and vision.
“I am also praying for Mama, asking God to keep granting her more insight and to continue blessing her with the vision to lead us forward,” he added with heartfelt emotion.
CCM party manifesto
Following the official unveiling of the party’s manifesto in preparation for the polls, Harmonize did not hold back his delight, stating that it now allows every party member to acquaint themselves with what is expected under Suluhu’s leadership.
“But now the manifesto has been launched, and from it we expect to gain greater direction about the matters that await us,” he noted.
Harmonize also issued a word of expectation directed at all leaders, including Members of Parliament, who will secure seats through President Suluhu’s CCM party in the coming elections.
He pointed out that the public harbours high hopes for them, urging that they should take the time to read the manifesto thoroughly, because the people will not hesitate to keep them on their toes if they fail to live up to the promises outlined within the document.
“So I am very excited about that, and finally, to the leaders who shall win—ranging from councillors to Members of Parliament—the manifesto is right here, and if we follow it to the letter, we shall succeed.
All CCM members, this is a great moment; let us read the manifesto, but also let us choose quality leaders. That is the call of tomorrow,” he remarked with a tone of urgency and optimism.
Ardent Suluhu supporter
The sentiments shared by the Konde Gang label boss come just days after he made a notable move on social media, changing his Instagram profile picture from an image of himself to one of President Samia Suluhu adorned in a military uniform.
This move, a public affirmation of his unwavering support, came on the heels of a series of back-to-back posts where he had been showering praise upon the Head of State, describing her as a diligent woman whose presidency is, in his words, “without blemish.”
Harmonize, much like a number of other celebrated Tanzanian artistes, appears deeply smitten by their president and has never shied away from publicly expressing his admiration for her and gratitude for her commendable leadership.
Their bond, which is woven with threads of mutual respect and public moments, dates back to the time President Suluhu ascended to power following the passing of former President John Magufuli.
In May of 2024, President Suluhu honoured Harmonize by attending his album launch as the chief guest, a gesture that left the artiste both awestruck and grateful, as he thanked her for reciprocating the support he consistently channels towards her and her administration.

The event, which marked the launch of Harmonize’s fifth studio album, took place at Milimani City in Dar es Salaam, where President Suluhu took the stage not only to grace the moment but to boldly affirm that her presence was in line with her firm support for the country’s vibrant creative industry.
She was accompanied by none other than the nation’s Speaker of Parliament, Tulia Ackson, and was captured in key moments interacting warmly with Harmonize’s inner circle, including his mother and a group of women who stood close to his heart.
