Popular cosmetician and TikToker Ntazola Gloria has candidly disclosed her decision to abstain from voting, revealing that one of the unusual reasons behind her choice is to protect her skin from damage.

Speaking during a Q&A session with her followers on Instagram on Thursday, June 5, 2025, Ntazola expressed her firm stance that she will never participate in the voting process, explaining that she fears the effects of sun exposure.

According to her, the consequences of standing in a voting queue without any protection from the sun could prove costly, given that she has invested millions in preserving her skin.

Do you usually vote?” a fan asked Ntazola.

I cannot do that. I will never, and I have never, voted. I have invested a lot of money in this skin,” she responded.

Ntazola then explained that her light skin is very sensitive, and if she were exposed in an open space during elections, it would quickly turn red or even begin to swell, risking the careful care she has invested in her skin.

“I will not stand in line to vote and then have the sun burn me until my skin becomes red — absolutely not.”

Ntazola then emphasised that power, in her view, is something taken rather than freely given, and that participating in voting is a futile exercise that only results in disappointment and frustration.

“I have never voted. Power is taken, not given; you just waste your time,” she added.

Elegant women mentor

The cosmetician who went viral after she got into a scuffle with a city council officer’s remarks comes just days after she went viral for urging women to stop settling for men who flash the title of big boys but can only manage to offer Ksh20,000 for a night out.

In a post on her Instagram stories on Monday, May 19, 2025, Ntazola confidently reminded women that they are far too elegant, valuable, and high-calibre to spend their nights outside dancing and entertaining men in exchange for what she described as pocket change.

According to her, women should only entertain such small-time money from men when it is being channelled directly into meaningful things like their businesses, but not when it is being splashed on them in clubs and packaged as some life-changing favour.

“These men buying you alcohol worth Ksh20,000 are the same ones you are calling ‘big boys’? Come, let me take you out and get you drinks worth Ksh100,000 — and please, never go dancing at Obilee again. You are far too gorgeous and refined to be spending your nights outside dancing for just Ksh20,000, unless he is giving you that money to invest in your hustle or business,” she wrote.

She went on to challenge the narrative that being bought drinks worth Ksh20K is a luxury, saying that true class means knowing your worth, protecting your energy, and being able to say no to flashy but low-value offers that do not match the effort or standard you bring to the table.

Adding a bold twist to her message, Ntazola suggested that women should focus on levelling up so much financially and mentally that they could even afford to fund their boyfriend’s side chick if they chose to.

“Be the kind of woman who is so financially secure that you can even afford your boyfriend’s side chick, just so you can try her too. Have both of them if you want, babe. Who knows, maybe she tastes good,” she concluded.
