Muthoni is housed by the chief
The county commissioner ordered the village elder to give Muthoni a place to sleep while his case continued to be resolved last days.
“I was washing my clothes and passed three people, returned, greeted me and said they were sent by the chief, claimed there were land documents I needed to sign and they said there was a car waiting for me, when I came in I saw knives and swords hidden under a black mat, they took it out and told me to keep quiet and say no word.
We drove until we passed a poster written ‘Welcome to Embu.’ There was a forest nearby, and that was where they took me and my children. They persecuted me, asking me what I was looking for and why I wanted that land. They warned me not to ask again about the land. They stabbed me with a knife and left me bleeding, with my children looking at me, ” He remembered bitterly.
