On Monday, June 2, Kenyans got a picture of preparing for Matiang’i after a campaign truck containing a color brand Jubilee Party Appear.
The truck with the shape of Matiang’i was parked outside the Jubilee party headquarters, marking its preparations for the presidency 2027.

Is Gachagua not happy with the Jubilee party?
Meanwhile, the conflict between the allies of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and the Jubilee party of retired President Uhuru Kenyatta may have disrupted Matiang’i’s intention.
Gachagua and its allies have held that the new democratic party for Citizen launched will be the only political instrument in the Mount Kenya region, rejecting any divisions through the Jubilee party.
MP Embakasi North James Gakuya confidently announced that Mount Kenya had already chosen Gachagua as their local leader.
Gakuya urged members of the Jubilee Party to join the new Gachagua party in preparation for the 2027 general election.
Will Gachagua support Matiang’i?
Gachagua has been setting himself up as the best candidate to fly the opposition flag in the 2027 general election.
Just a week after launching his DCP party, the former leader called on his colleagues in the opposition to support his presidential goal, saying he was the best candidate with political and political capital to bring Ruto home.
