The dismissed vice president, who in recent weeks has been a fierce thorn in the government Kenya firsthe announced that removing the President from power was a priority for a better Kenya.

During a high -profile rally organized by Wiper party leader, Kalonzo Musyokaat his home in Tseikuru village, Gachagua delivered a strong speech that pointed to a joint plan by opposition leaders to oust Ruto from the 2027 general election.

“The most important thing for Kenya to move forward is that Ruto He must leave. That’s the key. He continues to shout that we have no agenda – we have an agenda! And that agenda is to get rid of him first, ” Gachagua told the people who were cheering.

This was a direct response to the preliminary remarks of Ruto who mocked opposition leaders for allegedly lacking direction and strong plans for the nation.

But in Tseikuru, Gachagua emphasized his position that returning Ruto home is not only a political issue but a national commitment to them.

“So William Ruto, don’t decide our agenda – look at yours.“announced Gachagua.

How will the opposition join against Ruto?

The statements were made in the midst of increasing rumors about the formation of a major opposition coalition towards the 2027 elections.

Although the event was cited as a consultation meeting, the presence of senior political leaders from different parts of the country turned it into a demonstration of power and early preparation.

Kalonzo, whose political stronghold has continued to be consistent for many years, was hosted by a meeting attended by several prominent leaders.

Gachagua’s strong statements came shortly after he suggested plans to present a single presidential candidate in 2027.

The former vice president explained that he had confidence in the opposition’s position against Ruto, noting that they had already agreed to cooperate for the same purpose.

“The journey to form the 2027 government has begun. We are here to say that your leader Kalonzo Musyoka is sitting with him. We are sitting with Eugene WamalwaFred Matiang’i, Martha Karua and many other leaders. And we have agreed that given the situation in Kenya today, we must be listening to each other, love each other and sit down and get one presidential candidate, ” Gachagua revealed.

Is Gachagua worrying Ruto?

As previously reported, Gachagua claimed that he had put Ruto in the political corner and now the president cannot fall asleep due to increasing pressure.

Gachagua accused the President of failing to restore the confidence of the people and urged Kenyans to be patient as the opposition continued with efforts to remove him from power.
