Tanzanian MPs agree to forgive William Ruto after the diplomatic crisis: “Honor one another”

Dodoma – Members of the Parliament of Tanzania have welcomed the sign of the President of Kenya William Ruto to seek reconciliation a few days after a diplomatic dispute between the two countries.

In recent times, diplomatic reports were made between Kenya and Tanzania after the country arrested and detained a Kenyan activist, Boniface Mwangi.

Prior to Mwangi’s ban, the Tanzanian authority had dismissed the attorney Martha Karua And his colleagues.

Karua and Mwangi had to join other activists from the East African region to monitor the case against the leader of the Democracy and Development Party (Chadema), Tundu Lissu, facing treason charges in Dar es Salaam.

The events ended in verbal warfare, with members of the Tanzania If they take responsibility for the Kenyans for interfering with their affairs.

The MPs suspended their operations on Monday, May 26, to discuss the behavior of their northern neighbors.

But speaking during the 22nd edition of the national breakfast at the Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi, Wednesday, May 28, Ruto gave a voice of reconciliation, calling for stability between the East African Community.

Appearing to be aware of recent diplomatic tensions, the president noted that the countries needed one another for the benefit of many sides.

He immediately apologized, saying Kenya is sorry for any misrepresentation made in the main plan.

Ruto’s exemption was accepted in the Parliament of Tanzania, whose members accepted the need for regional cooperation.

Mwera MP Zahor Mohamed Haji said it was a brave move for the Kenyan president to own on behalf of his country.

The MP from the coast of Tanzania emphasized Ruto’s remarks about the two countries in order, saying that despite these diplomatic challenges, long -term relationships should be strengthened for future generations.

Haji’s feelings were accepted by his colleagues.
