In a condolences to the late Novelist, Gachagua through social networks to share personal reflections on how the book of Ngugi ‘A grain of wheat’ was comforted during one of the most difficult times in his political life.
Gachagua reported that after being removed from office, when he faced a sense of unconsciousness and lost influence, he turned to the novel to comfort himself.
Apart from Ngugi’s enthusiasm as a writer, he also highlighted the permanent importance of his work in encouraging resilience in times of challenge.
“His inspiration to me crossed the class into my political world; when I left the office at the end of last year, I read and read his book, ‘The grain of wheat’. His words,” … then no one discovered it; But when we look back, we can see that the blood of Waiyaki was in the seed, grain, which gave birth to the movement… ”Gachagua’s statement was partially read.

“If a man of great literary talent has ever lived who has influenced my world of literary language and communication, be it the use of symbols, the language of the proverb, the metaphor, the metallimia, the poetry, the talent is Prof. Thiong’o,” Gachagua said.
