The new father had taken his son to the hospital in hopes of treatment, but there were no doctors or nurses to care for him.
Had sent a toddler for treatment, but for Luck Worse the child was not served due to the ongoing strike by health care workers.
After discovering that the baby was dead, the man was angry and caused violence in the hospital; He cried bitterly and mourned bitterly from the death of his son that would have been avoided if doctors were present.
The guard who came to comfort him was beaten twice before the driver intervened.
Some patients who had come to seek medical care looked in surprise, feeling pain and recognizing injustice in the situation.
Why were Kenyans angry?
Kenyans who watched the video were very angry at the situation, as the health sector has become a nuisance to many, especially due to frequent strikes by health care workers and health insurance failing to help many.
Among the most saddened by the incident was Kiambu County Women’s Representative, Gathoni Muumomba.
“I have watched a video clip; it is very sad to see him sadly disappointed. This is one of the many intentional negligence events for the provision of health care at Kiambu County public hospitals,” He said.
“This situation is unacceptable in a country where citizens are taxed for compulsory taxes. he added.

Nyambura Kariuki:
“Poor God, this is very painful.”
Ruth Muigai:
“A sad and heartbreaking video. And the government is still spending billions in the name of empowerment. God remember this family. 😭😭😭😭.”
Joan Githieya:
“But the government is preparing for churches … Kenya is actually a kitchen of 🐖😭😭😭😭.”
Jac Elijah Ogutu:
“Muumomba should be giving a solution as a leader instead of playing with emotions … he is a elected leader from Kiambu County and is well aware of the strikes of health care workers in his county … second, why should a person send a very sick child to a public hospital while the strike is ongoing?”
