Eric Omondi posted a sad video on social networks on Tuesday, May 28, showing the father in a state of sadness, carrying the body of his newborn child.
The fog region shows the father is fighting angrily with a man believed to be the hospital’s bodyguard, blaming him and the hospital for the fraud.
In the video, the mourning father is seen screaming speaking in a Kikuyu language:
“Baby is dead. Since the morning you have been here. He died here. Leave me, because he died here!”
When he cried bitterly and hit his fist in the air, the people nearby tried to carry him and calm him down.
Despite the violence, the man did not let his son’s body, which touched Eric and many Kenyans who watched the video online.
Preliminary reports claim that the child may have died from medical delays, as doctors at the hospital are alleged to have been on strike.

“This is the sad and heartbreaking picture … the father is carrying his child’s body because of the systems that failed to work,” He wrote.
“I am looking for him in an emergency. If you know him, send me his inbox number. We try to relieve him of the pain.
