Nyeri – CCTV photos have been of great importance in exposing the sudden disappearance and murder of a seven -year -old girl in Nyeri.

The Nation reported that the discovery led to the arrest of the suspect and the discovery of the baby’s body.

Tamara Blessing, a student and daughter of a local businessman, disappeared on Friday evening near Nyeri’s open market.

His disappearance sparked a four -day serious search, with residents and relatives examining the area unsuccessfully.

Success was achieved on Sunday, after a video of secret cameras from the store near the market showing the last minutes of Tamara.

The video showed him walking with a man known by the name of “Macha,” a frequent luggage hostess in the market.

Nyeri Urban Police Commander, Andrew Mugo, confirmed the incident and thanked the public for their support.

“Residents identified the man in the video and immediately notify the police. We took immediate action and arrested the suspect.”

After the interview, the suspect led the officers to his home in the WEMDANI Street, on the outskirts of the city.

In a tragic event, Officers found Tamara’s body deadwrapped in a sack bag and buried under the bed.

The sad discovery sparked outrage throughout Nyeri, with angry residents invading the suspect’s house, expressing their fears about the increase in child visas being lost and killed.

Police were forced to use tear gas to disperse angry protesters.

Residents accused the police of not taking action in such preliminary cases, demanding immediate action be taken to protect the children of the area.

Commander Mugo assured the public that the investigation is ongoing and the suspect will be brought to court as soon as the investigation is completed.
