What did Gachagua say about Kikuyu musicians?

Gachagua, who has been a major critic of Kindiki since taking his place as a second deputy in the government, expressed deep sadness at Kikuyu musicians who visited Kindiki, and called them “community traitors.”

The anger began after a recent visit in which a group of musicians from Mount Kenya met Kindiki.

During the conference, the famous gospel musician Karangu Muraya publicly praised the Community Health Insurance Authority (SHA), claiming that the Institute paid the hospital bills the previous night.

However, Gachagua, speaking at a recent church service, showed no satisfaction.

“Our artists and singers have disappointed us, to the point of being a traitors of the community … they were invited to Karen recently and told us that Sha It works, roads are built, and education is going well, ” He complained.

He went on to claim that the artists were paid KSh 50,000 each to mud the government and mislead Kenyans.

He said that they crossed the border and asked them to apologize publicly, adding that the decision was reached after consultation with community elders.

“Those artists ask for forgiveness. If they miss, we’ll stop listening to their songs … and the entertainment places they like to go, they shouldn’t be invited again. And if they are online, unfollow,” He said.

The former vice president emphasized that to boycott the artists’ work is a way of protecting himself from what he referred to as a government of oppression, emphasizing that artists should be loyal to their community rather than being used to proclaim the government for payment.
