Kirinyaga: A family in Mwea has plunged into sadness and I do not know after their beloved relative, who is a preacher, disappeared anonymously.

The absence of a Kirinyaga preacher is still a paradox that confuses many, community and family with a thirst for response.
The preacher, known as John Kinyua, traveled to Moyale for the gospel preaching work but has not contacted anyone since April 24.
In an interview with NTVhis wife Kinyua, Mrs. Lilian Wangechi, described her husband’s disappearance as a sad thing and said the unaware of her being so worried as a family.
She asked anyone with information about where her husband was to come out and help bring her home.
“He went to work on March 10 and has been unknown since April 24. I pray for anyone who knows where he is, help us get him home,” Said Wangechi bitterly.
In support of Wangechi’s statement, the preacher’s brother, Fraizer Mugo, said that before he disappeared, Kinyua had said he was worried about his safety.
“We have asked him to be found. As you can see, all church members are gathered here to plan how to call so that the preacher can return to his family. We continue to ask God to protect him and bring him back safely,” Said Fraizer.

He added that he advised his brother to report to the police about fear of his safety, but since then he has not contacted him again.
The family has said that it is now a month since their loved one lost.
Douglas Gitonga, a church member, suggested that Pastor Kinyua may have been kidnapped by unknown people while in his preaching ministry.
“The Bible says that if such things happen, we must have faith and continue to pray,” Said Gitonga.
A Catholic Church who welcomed Gachagua is brutally murdered
This comes a few days after Patriarch John Maina, a priest of Igwamiti Parish, brutally murdered, just weeks after he was hosting the former Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua.

According to reports, Maina was kidnapped and attacked before being thrown along the road in Kopey, Gilgil, County Nakuru – approximately 50 km from his parish.
He was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Gilgil and the manager who helped him, but died while receiving treatment.
After his death, the Criminal Investigation Department (DCI) took on the responsibility of investigating the incident.
Their investigation revealed that Maina was followed by a group of men who wanted him to give them a portion of the money he was given at a ceremony attended by Gachagua.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the attack while looking for the perpetrators who carried out the killings.
