The MP explained that strange letters were left outside his house in Uasin Gishu, warning him against out of his room.

Following the threats, Soy residents appeared on the road for six hours demanding that the government improve the safety of their MP.

The residents also called on the security department to investigate the incident and take action against the perpetrators.

“We will not allow our MP to be killed. We want the Honor to be given adequate protection. One resident told Citizen TV.

“We woke up with a shocking event. There is someone distributing threatening letters to our MP. We will not accept that,” Another resident said.

The MP, who is a member of the President’s Democratic Union Party William Ruto (UDA), has already reported the threats at the Lake Police Station.
