What did Ng’ang’a say about land tax debt?
On May 18, officials from the County government led by Chief Environmental Officer Geoffrey Mosiria, visited the Ng’ang’a church to submit a notice about the KSh 10 million land fee debt owed to Nairobi County.
The controversy erupted after it was reported that Ng’ang’a despised the debt described it as a “rubbish,” which caused county officials to take drastic measures.
In an angry response, the Prophet Ng’ang’a denied refusing to repay the debt, saying:
“If you bother me I will leave here to go to Jerusalem, the place to take it. I never refused to pay the land, how can I drive a good car and then refuse to pay? He said angrily.
The preacher, known for saying things, explained that the crisis is in court, which has been a source of tension between him and the county government.
“The case is in court, and I have a letter from the government.
You are little kids, nobody I’m afraid there. Honor God and I do not try me, I am the men and I, ” He warned fiercely.
