Speaking at the launch of the 2001 Foreign Policy (2024 edition) on Monday, May 19, the resolution defended his administration, warning against foreign interference in Tanzania’s internal affairs.

Why did Samia Solution defend the ban on Kenyans?

He expressed his concern about what he referred to as the growing trend of activists from neighboring countries trying to disturb the peace and stability of Tanzania.

The resolution emphasized that while some of the people had already caused chaos in their countries, Tanzania continued to have peace and security – a situation he vowed to protect at any cost.

“We have begun to see a model where our region’s activists are starting to invade and intervene in our affairs. Now, if they have already been dealt with in their countries, they should not be here to ruin things.

We should not give them a chance-they have already caused a mess at home. This is one of the remaining countries that have not been disrupted. It is here that people enjoy security, peace and tranquility, “ He said.

Referring to the recent detachment at Julius Nyerere International Airport, including senior attorney Martha Karuaformer Chief Justice Willy Mutunga and human rights defenders such as Hanifa Adan and Hussein Khalid, the solution emphasized that Tanzania would not allow what he referred to as “non -disciplined” from other countries “to bring violence” to the country.

His statement came a few hours after the former Chief Justice David Maraga allowed to enter the country and attend the Lissu case, quite unlike his Kenyan colleagues who were prevented from entering.

The president held that his actions were impartial but part of his constitutional duty to protect the power and stability of the nation.

“There have been several attempts, and I urge our security agents and policy managers not to let rebel people from other countries come and cause a mess here. No.

I have seen many clips accusing me of being privileged, but I do to protect my country – and that is the responsibility I was given. We will not let anyone come to frustrate our country, ” he added.

Chadema curses Kenyans to be detained, fired

At the same time, the Chadema party has condemned the ban on Kenyan lawyers in Tanzania, citing it as a violation of their basic rights and abuse of immigration protocols.

The party described the event as a major contempt for Pan-African solidarity, legal brotherhood, and regional cooperation under the East African Community.

Chadema said the measures indicate a decrease in democratic position and increased political situation in the current Tanzanian administration.

The party claimed to apologize for the abuse of banned law professionals.
