Nyandarua – New reports have emerged about the death of Dr John Maina Ndegwa, a Catholic priest who was found killed a few weeks after welcoming former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua.

The corpse surgery performed on the body of the killed priest of the Catholic Church Nyahururu has shown that he died from numerous gunshot wounds.
According to a Nation report, the investigation revealed that one bullet penetrated the head and caused severe damage to his skull.
The body of the Patriarch Maina had many shooting injuries to various parts of the body, and was still full of blood on Monday, May 19.
The surgery was performed by state physician Titus Ngulungu in the Mochari of Pope Benedict Catholic Hospital, for the presence of a close relative, and Deputy Chief of the Diocese of Nyahururu, Patriarch Timothy Maina, along with 10 other priests.
By further confusing this investigation, Dr Ngwalungu refused to speak to the media, saying he had been instructed by the Church not to provide any information about the report – even though the deceased’s relatives expressed dissatisfaction with how the Church had dealt with the matter.
Preliminary investigations show that his killer made sure he had killed him fully before leaving the scene.
“His body is in a very bad condition, it is very badly beaten,” Said the detective who witnessed the surgery.
Where was the body of Patriarch John Maina?
As reported, sadness and sadness spread among the Catholic and Kenyan communities in general following the sudden death of a respected priest from the Catholic Diocese of Nyahururu.
His death shocked many people in the religious and civilian spheres, especially considering it happened just three weeks after he made a significant contribution to prominent political leaders including the former Deputy President.
His body was found on Thursday, May 15, about 50 kilometers from his Iwamiti parish, having already died.
Officials of the Criminal Investigation Department (DCI) believe the killings occurred elsewhere with his body thrown into the Kopey area, along the Nakuru -Nairobi highway near Gilgil.
The car of the Subaru Forester Patriarch, which is suspected of being used by the killers to move his body, has not been found.

The event took place in the parish of St. Louis, Igwamiti, where Patriarch Maina was serving.
The aim was to raise funds for the purchase of a parish car as well as to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the church’s presence.
During his sermon on Sunday, April 27, the late Patriarch Maina delivered a serious message to political leaders in the country.
He urged leaders to be humble, honest, and to have a genuine attitude to serve Kenyans sincerely.
Patriarch Maina is remembered as a compassionate pastor who has served the church and his community, and who volunteered to defend justice, dignity, and life for all.
