Senator of Samburu, Hezena Lemaletian, has officially announced the breakup of the planned marriage, just a few months after announcing his courtship.

In an open and detailed post he participated in on social networks, the young senator said that the decision to terminate the wedding was reached after his family’s elders conducted a thorough investigation into his fiancée, an important step in traditional customs of the Wasamburu.
“Recently, with great sadness, I published that someone came to mislead me for what the Wasamburu would have called to quote (Siamu), as you have seen all of you.He wrote.
According to Lemaletian, his family’s elders were not satisfied with the results of the survey and thus decided to terminate the marriage process immediately.
He explained that the man had already given the elders KSh 100,000, the money that was fully returned.
“The elders of my family refused to receive a dowry from the man after examining him in. All the necessary steps were taken to the end, including the 100K to return the 100K he gave to the elders during the session,” He explained.
Lemaletian also denied widespread reports that he was already married, referring to it as false and destructive. He emphasized that he would not marry the man and expressed his great gratitude to his family for standing with him.
