Kasipul parliament is preparing for a minority election following the murder of its MP, Ong’ongo Were, who was shot on Wednesday, April 30.

The MP is said to have been followed by an attacker from Parliament to Ngong Road near the City’s corpse, where he was killed in a shooting.
Were was remembered as a man of men, known for attending community events – including funerals – and with his helpless help to women’s groups and the education of incompetent children.
Following his death, a video emerged showing the deceased MP calling for Newton Onyango Ogada, God’s director Will Provide Organization, to be his favorites.
How has Newton Ogada contributed to the development of Kasipul?
In a special conversation with TUKO.co.ke, Ogada, a prominent donor and community leader from the parliament, has confirmed the interest of the seat.
Ogada mentioned his long -standing work in Kasipul, including school construction, hospitals, orphanages, and about 6,000 widows’ houses.

He has also organized free medical camps and defended the education of the girl child, and gained great respect for her humanitarian efforts.
“I have come out of poor life, I know the bitterness of poverty, when I was blessed I vowed to change his life, when a widow got a house or an orphan with an education with my help. He said.
The candidate, who is also a businessman, confirmed his willingness to compete for justice, including against the late son, Boyd Were, if he entered the race, saying that “were the wishes of our late MP, and so I am ready.”
Despite not having political goals, Ogada said that pressure from residents and encouraged by the late MP wanted him to contest.
He promised to develop all the development projects of Ong’ongo Were that are incomplete and expand support to endangered groups in the area.
“I have never answered the political attack. I believe leadership should reflect Christian values, not insults. If I am elected, I will change the politics of our region and the country as a whole,” he added.

Have the DCI investigators arrested the suspects for the murder of Ongo Were?
Meanwhile, the Criminal Investigation Department (DCI) has arrested 12 suspects linked to the murder of Were.
Among those arrested was a man identified by the name of Amos Barasa, who is considered to be a repetitive victim of a bodaboda while working with armed gangs.
