Why did Mithika Linturi withdraw from Uda?
In his statement to the Secretary -General of UDA On Wednesday, May 14, Linturi said he had previously joined the party because he supported his philosophy and dedicated to the economic change agenda of the bottom-up.
However, he pointed out that he decided to leave after he was satisfied that the party had failed to regulate his philosophy, authority, intentions, values and goals.
“Such a party has no moral authority to bear the name of a political party. This is the same party as the Bible Tower of Babylon,” Linturi said in a statement.
The former cabinet secretary accused Uda of expressing completely ignorance of the people of Kenya and the nation in his two years in power. He said the party had undermined the constitution, ignored the rule of law, and failed to listen to the voices of the people.
