How did the intense debate between Sifuna and Cheruiyot begin?
The tension began when Senator Sifuna stood up to address Parliament on an emergency and emotional issue, a case that was not resolved about the death of a Kibera high school student, whose family was allegedly deprived of compensation.
Sifuna showed that he had a necessary document for the matter, which he came to present personally to the Minister of Health, Aden Duale.
“I came here deliberately so that I could hand over these documents to the Minister. These games, the minister, must end because it reports,” Sifuna emphasized, noting that the Ministry had requested paperwork specific before making progress in the matter.
But when the Nairobi Senator spoke, complaints and discomfort were heard from a different bench.
