Nairobi – Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua He officially launched a new political party, Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP), as part of his preparation for the 2027 presidential election.

The new party, which has chosen the green neon, brown and white to be official, uses the slogan “Skiza Kenyans” and has an ear logo surrounded by fingerprints signifying the sensitivity of ordinary citizens.
Who are the temporary leaders of the DCP party of Gachagua?
Gachagua will serve as a party leader, aided by a team of temporary officers appointed to hold key leadership positions.
Among them are:
Cleophas Malala, former Kakamega Senator – Deputy Party Leader
Mithika Linturi, former Meru Senator and Minister of Agriculture – Secretary -General of Planning
Cate Waruguru, former Women’s Representative Laikipia – National Women’s Leader
Other appointed officers are:
Hezron Obatha – Time Secretary -General
Martil Ole Kamwaro – Deputy Secretary General
Hannah Mutua – National Treasurer
Wanjra Njoka – Deputy Treasurer
The former Vice President did not appoint any current elected leader in the temporary leadership.
The decision signifies a new strategic direction, in which Gachagua aims to establish a new party that is not affected by politicians in power at the moment.
The new party is targeting Mount Kenya voters
The party appears to invest its power for voters in Mount Kenya, as many temporary officials have origin or influence in the area – showing efforts to gather support.
GLACULAPLE SHOULD PUBLICATIONS THROUGH THE SONGS OF HEART
As part of the launch, the DCP also introduced a series of motivated songs aimed at mobilizing supporters and strengthening its message in political race against the President William Ruto.
Two songs – one in Swahili and the other in English – carries a heavy message about economic liberation, listening to citizens, and expanding democratic position.
The words of the songs encourage Kenyans to unite against difficult economic conditions and reject oppression policies.
One Swahili song includes the following verses:
“Redeem PayslipSave Kenyans, connect Kenya! ” and
“Skaka Kenyans! Liars go completely! The DCP is a new awareness, it will improve health and it will save pay!”
The songs have already begun to gain popularity online, becoming an integral part of the DCP identity as a public movement aimed at “liberating Payslip” and restoring the respect of ordinary Kenyans.
