Did a first -grade student from Nandi reportedly disappear?
A first -grade student at Benedict Kaptich Primary School, identified as Dennis Kipkoech, reportedly disappeared on Wednesday, May 7.
His mother, Scholastica Jesang, narrated sadly when she saw her son, explaining how she dressed her in the school and removed her from home.
“My son left home after I helped him wear his uniform,” Jesang told Citizen TV.
The sad mother remembered how she looked at her son walking there disappearing on the sugar cane fields, not knowing that that would be the last time he had seen him alive.
By evening, Jesang began to worry when he realized that his seven -year -old son had not returned home. He went to school to ask, but found that he did not come that day.
“I had to go to school to ask about my son. He had never been to school. He was wearing a full uniform, a yellow jacket, rain boots, and he had a bag,” He said.
Jesang said he reported the incident to the police before he and neighbors launched a three -day search to find Dennis, which sadly ended with the discovery of his body in the sugar cane field.
“We have never witnessed something like this, where a first -class student is killed in such a brutal way. They even cut off his hand,” Said one resident.
The local OCPD, Samwel Muli, confirmed the incident, saying an investigation into the child’s brutal killings is ongoing.
“We ask residents with information about what happened to let us know so that we can reach the essence of this case,” Said Muli.
