A BUNGOMA FRIEND IS GIVEN TO THE PARENT WHO HAS BEEN GIVEN TO HIM: I don’t want him “

  • Bedah Arokay from Bungoma is a man with problems, due to the usual friendship that took a terrible stream
  • Bedah claims that a young Catholic priest has been doing wrong actions to him despite saying he has openly denied him
  • The two previously met at the market, where the priest started communication and revealed that he wanted to meet him

Bungoma – A resident of Bungoma County has come forward with a controversial allegation against a Catholic priest from his street.

He claimed that the Patriarch had been doing the wrong things for him despite his open rejection.

The man, who identified himself by the name of Bedah Arokay, contacted TUKO.co.ke with the intention of seeking help and focusing on what he claims to be abused by the man of the clothing.

According to Bedah, the two were initially met in the street market, and then the priest introduced communications via Facebook.

What started as a simple introduction was reported to increase and become romantic and unpleasant events.

“I was shocked when he started telling me he wanted to get married to me. I never got involved in such a thing,” Bedah said.

Bedah explained that at first, he tried to be polite while separating, but the priest did not get the hint.

He added that since then the priest has decided to call him almost daily, demanding a private meeting, a behavior that Bedah says is similar to the abuse.

“Does this mean all the Catholic priests are in this way, or is it just this one who destroys the name of the church?

Bedah further revealed that he had saved the screenshots of the conversation as evidence, which he says he is ready to participate with the relevant authorities.

These complaints raise serious questions about boundaries, accountability, and expectations set for religious leaders.

Although the Catholic Church maintains the oath of celibacy to its priests, there have been worldwide debates on how these oaths are fulfilled and whether adjustments are important.

If confirmed, this can spark a broader dialogue on the clergy’s conduct and the need for parish believers to feel safe and respected in their interactions with religious leaders.
