An 87 -year -old elder, identified by the name of Elder Peter collapsed and died while leaving the funeral, thus changing the day that was supposed to be normal and an unexpected tragedy.
According to witnesses, Elder Peter was happy earlier that day and had even exchanged comforts with friends and neighbors.
However, what started as a regular walk back home quickly turned out to be bad.
How did Elder Peter from Kakamega die?
The elder was walking with a local resident, Moses Mukagwa, and he began to show signs of frustration.
Mukagwa, seemingly shocked as he recounted the incident, said the two had a simple conversation about the origin of mourning, shortly before the tragedy appeared.
“We were walking together and he told me he was leaving the funeral. He said it was good to mourn. Then he asked me, ‘Who are you?’ I said to him, ‘I am Moses Mukagwa,’ ‘Mukagwa narrated.
What followed was a sad and unexpected situation with Mukagwa reporting that Elder Peter began to complain of sudden chest pain.
“He said to me, ‘There is my daughter there who is suffering so much, he is called Judy. He is down on the rail.’ As we continued to talk and walk a little further, I walked a little further. When I looked back, I saw him holding his chest, ”he said.
Mukagwa turned again when he heard the word “chest” repeat, and saw the old man fall.
Shocked and could not help alone, he ran to seek help from a nearby neighbor.
A resident who responded to a call for sadness remembered to find the old man struggling to lift his head.
“When he came to call me we found the old man trying to lift his head, but it remained back to the ground. We tried to help him. So I laid him down, ”she relates as her voice was heavy.
