The former deputy president said he was not worried about the president’s nominees for the electoral commission.
According to Gachagua, they are Kenyans and not IEBC Those who decide who will be the prospective president.

He assured Kenyans that he was not worried about the election process, saying they were voters and not the commissioners who would elect leaders.
Gachagua called on his supporters to remain calm about the nomination and instead encourage Kenyans to register as voters.
“We want to make sure we win the 2027 presidential election with over 7.1 million votes to make it difficult for anyone to destroy the outcome,” Said the former deputy president.
