No Sponsorship, No Options
Kipchumba, who impressively ran two races over the weekend, the Grand Prix von Bern and the Geneva Half Marathon, explained that he is currently without a shoe sponsor.
Without access to multiple high-performance pairs, he was forced to make do with the only shoes he had in decent condition.
Despite his unconventional gear, Kipchumba ran a strong race, finishing second in 1:05:19 as Bor won the race with a personal best of 1:01:45, while Frenchman Tanguy Benkritly placed third in 1:05:51.
