New Vision reports that such horrific crimes have brought shock in the village community in Kaniga I in Rwengwe suburb.

When did Nshemereirwe allegedly kill her husband?

Sharon Nshemereirwe allegedly killed her husband, Beinomugisha, on the night of April 13, in their house before hiding the crime for several weeks.

According to investigators, Nshemereirwe allegedly hit her husband in the head with a hammer while he was asleep.

Then he covered his body with a blanket, sheets, and canvas before burial in a deep grave under the bedroom.

The horrible discovery was found after several weeks of suspicion from relatives and neighbors after Nshemereirwe claimed her husband had traveled to South Sudan for a building work.

“He got a construction work and he works for us hard,” it is reported to have told anxious friends and family.

How the Nshemereirwe crime was detected

However, doubts intensified especially after Nshemereirwe started sleeping in the living room and closing the bedroom.

It was only when he allegedly confessed to his brother that the truth began to be revealed.

“I thought I would put it to me forever,” Nshemereirwe reportedly told the investigators. “But I left to tell one of my brother. I didn’t think they would tell me.”

The authorities believe the killings were intentionally planned, with Nshemereirwe reportedly sending his 13 -year -old son, Silver Beinomugisha, to stay at their side shop on the day of the murder.

Day the police raided the house of Nshemereirwe

The boy told police that he had been instructed not to return home after school.

When police arrived at the residence, they found five people living in the house, including Nshemereirwe, her husband’s body, newborn, Silver, and a nine -year -old daughter with a mental disability.

There was also 33 -year -old Caroline Kansiime, who Nshemereirwe claimed was a maid.

However, Kansiime told Authority that he had only visited them and met Nshemereirwe through his sister in Kampala.

She added that the woman was breastfeeding a three -week baby but had given conflicting information about the baby’s birth.

Suspicions of Nshemereirwa’s cause to kill her husband

Local officials say tensions between the couple have been going on on a number of issues, including financial problems, father doubts, and controversial land sale.

Michael Tindyebwa, the chairman of the local village, confirmed that the late Beinomugisha questioned about the father of the child, which led to frequent controversy.

Local Council chairman Frank Mukama called on law enforcement agencies to conduct land procurement investigations amid rumors that Beinomugisha sold land shortly before his death. The buyer has not yet been identified.

What did Nshemereirwe’s husband do?

Bushenyi police spokesman Martial Tumusiime confirmed that the body was released on April 31 after a court order, and a corpse investigation was conducted. The results have not yet been made clear.

Beinomugisha, a builder and businessman known for his local construction work – including the church he was supporting tiles during his disappearance – has left eight children from three different relationships.
