When will the oversight be buried?
The parliamentary funeral committee led by Homa Bay MP in Peter Kaluma announced that Were would be buried on Friday, May 9, just a week after his terrible murder.
Before the funeral, a dead body will be conducted on Monday, May 5, at Lee Funeral Home to provide more information about his death.
The investigation will be conducted by government chief philanthropist Johansen Oduor, according to Kaluma.
“Mass demand will take place on Wednesday, May 7, hopefully at the Holy Family Basilica. On Thursday, following a mass need, we will change the body at home. Kaluma said.
Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) led by Raila Odingawhich Were was selected for his ticket, will cover his coffin with a colored party flag during the funeral ceremony.
This is in accordance with the MP’s final requirement before his death on Wednesday, April 30.
The parliamentary delegation is expected to visit the home of the late MP on Saturday, May 3, to coordinate with local teams and to ensure funeral preparations are done properly.
