Why do activists doubt about the decision of carbohydrates?

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Progress Plus Alliance Chairman Kennedy Ondiek said governor’s steps raised serious questions about whether the action followed the relevant constitution and law.

“We are very concerned about the dismissal of Mr Charles Odhiambo, the head of the county staff in the government of our Homa Bay County unclear and it is likely to be illegal. Ondiek said.

The group urged the governor to explain the circumstances related to the removal of Odhiambo, quoting constitutional elements and laws that need to be treated for justice to public officials.

They referred to Article 35 of the Constitution, which ensures access to information, and section 47, which provides for administrative rights.

Ondiek also cited section 236 (b), which protects public servants against arbitrary dismissal, as well as Articles 59 and 74 of the County Government Act and executive command No. 1 of 2022, which establishes disciplinary procedures and management structure.

They have also warned that if the statements are not immediately disclosed, they are ready to take legal action.

“If you fail to provide the required information, we have instructions to seek legal arbitration, and any costs and results will fall on your office,” The group said.

They concluded by asking the governor to act with good intentions and comply with Article 10 of the Constitution requiring accountability, rule of law and good governance.

In a letter written on March 28, Wanga interrupted Odhiambo’s contract, citing the misconduct and acts allegedly undermining the reputation of his office, the county and the governor’s administration.

The letter indicated that Odhiambo continuing to be employed was not capable, resulting in immediately dismissal.

His dismissal followed online reports claiming he was attacked by unknown people, a storytered by a prominent blogger.

But in a telephone interview with Ramogi TV, Odhiambo dismissed the reports saying it was not true.

According to the letter of suspension, he had the right to be paid up to the date of dismissal, a one -month payment instead of notifications, and any additional payment.

Its final benefits were to be dealt with in accordance with the Human Resources Guidelines in the Public Service. He was also instructed to restore all the county assets he had to the county secretary.

The move became more recent in a series of changes within the starch regime, causing rumors about the events that led to the removal of Odhiambo.
