Abrham Sime was a class act as he silenced Kenyan pair at the Shanghai Diamond League meeting.

Kenyan duo Edmund Serem and Simon Kipruto finished second and third respectively at the Shanghai Diamond League meeting on Saturday.

The race was dominated by Ethiopia’s Sime Abrham, who crossed the finish line in 8:07.92 to win the cut-throat competitive race.

Serem clocked 8:08.68 while Kipruto attained 8:09.05. Tunisia’s Mohamed Amin (8:10.55) , Daru Nicolas-Marie ( 8:10.69) and Samuel Firewu, (8:11.18) came fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.
