The son of the late MP Charles Ong’ongo Were, Boid Were, has spoken after his father’s assassination.

What did Charles Ong’o Were’s family say?

Speaking at their home in Karen, her son said that their family was saddened by the death of their father who was a loved one.

Boid called on the investigative agencies to speed up the process so that families and Kenyans in general can find out what happened.

“As a family, we are saddened by the death of the father. He was a man of honor, everyone loved him, and what we can say is that we ask the investigating officers to speed up their work so that all Kenyans and Kasipul people can find out what happened,” He said sadly.

Boid admitted that this was a difficult time for their family and asked Kenyans to pray for them.

Witnesses claim that unidentified people traveling on motorcycles shot the politician.

He died near the City Mortual Roundabout in Nairobi on Wednesday, April 30, at one o’clock in the evening.
