In a press statement released on Wednesday, April 30 pm, the National Police Service (NPS) confirmed the tragic incident, saying it happened at 7:30 pm and reported by the Nairobi police commander.

According to police, the MP was driving a white Toyota Crown along Ngong Road as he stood at traffic lights near City Mortual Road when he was attacked.

“Witnesses reported that a motorcycle carrying a rider and a million passenger stopped at the car,” the statement said. “

The second passenger approached the car and fired multiple bullets to the front passengers before jumping back on a motorcycle. The attackers left faster. ”

Police also revealed that the driver of the car and male passengers, both not injured, were quickly rushed to Nairobi Hospital.
