Who killed Eric Shieni?

The officer, wearing a white patch on the shoulder, a green hat, red boots, and carrying a gun, was placed in only 25 meters from protesters, the late Eric Shieni.
The media outlined that, after being shot, the officer was the only person at the scene who was still wearing the uniforms.
The BBC also reported that the officer, who appears to work in the military, appeared to have been employed by an unknown person to carry out shootings.

They could have arrested him but the fact that you shot him in the head was intended to kill. You have been a court judge and the executioner Eric, he did not deserve the death penalty,” said Odhiambo.
The film has raised questions about the involvement of government forces in the shooting, while further investigations are underway.

Ruto Removes 2024 Financial Bill after protests
Responding to widespread protests, President William Ruto He announced the cancellation of the 2024 financial bill, saying he would not sign it.
He explained that his decision was fueled by the wishes of the people to seek to reduce more conditions than those proposed by MPs.
The president also called for the existence of various sectors’ cooperation with various stakeholders within 14 days to discuss the content of the bill and to address issues related to it such as measures to curb spending and strengthen the fight against corruption.
