Speaking in his parliament at the end of the week during the funeral of Elder Nathan Sirengo, Waluke criticized the Lusaka administration for spending millions of dollars to collect waste, citing the misuse of public resources.
The MP called on the Ethics and Anti -Corruption Commission (EACC) to investigate all officials in the Bungoma County government claiming that many of the workers are responsible for the misuse of public resources.
“The cities of Bungoma County cannot have waste that can be collected on a budget estimate of KSh 35 million, I have never seen it cleanse the city of Sirisia,” Waluke said.
Waluke confirmed that he would continue to put Lusaka’s management under control, saying that almost the entire Bungoma County parliament had failed miserably in their management role.
The MP wondered why the MCAs have been not talking about the misuse of public resources under the Lusaka administration.
“Many of these MCAs are sleeping at work; some have forgotten why they were voted as MCAs. Waluke added.
The MP also called on Bungoma youth to emerge and organize The procession To gain accountability for their money.
“Please young people, wake up and say, you should invade the house of Governor Lusaka or his office to ask him to disclose how he uses public money to help people with disabilities (disabled),” He said.
Waluke says many young people are suffering from poverty while the county officials loot public resources while adding that he is ready to appear before the court and defend the Bungoma people against corruption.

Earlier, the governor of Bungoma dismissed the allegations of corruption in the county and called it negligent and baseless.
