Nakuru: Sadly when a mother dies while giving birth at Nakuru Hospital due to doctors’ negligence

Elizabeth Waimu Njoroge was admitted to the Margaret Kenyatta Unit of Nakuru County Referral Hospital on Friday, April 18, for delivery.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, His mother, Susan Wanjiku Mwangi, said he was heading to Tabuga church there Luck When Waimu phoned her at noon to tell her that she was waiting for surgery.

Wanjiku immediately rushed to the hospital and found her daughter prepared and prescribed for surgery but is still waiting to be taken to the surgery room.

“He told me there were queues and the nurses were still discussing whether to send him or leave him in the ward,” Wanjiku claimed.

The Waimu was left in happiness all night and was still waiting to be taken to the surgery the next day, Saturday, April 19.

However, by noon, communication with him broke down, which made Wanjiku run to the hospital.

She arrived on time and saw her daughter being taken into an intensive care unit.

“In my shock, I saw him with a tape on his eyes and cotton in his mouth. It was a scary thing,” she rented in tears.

The frustrated woman claimed she was previously barred from reaching her daughter and was abused by staff, who were allegedly dismissed her anxiety and even laugh at the midst of her agony.

Her husband Waimu, Benson Kinyanjui Wanjiru, said she did not show any signs of complications before the surgery.
