  • Moses Wetang’ula and Musalia Mudavadi are considered Western Kenyan leaders, but are at risk of isolation from President William Ruto
  • But Lurambi MP Titus Khamala says their supposed popularity may not have any meaning to Ruto if they do not bring any benefits to the presidential election
  • According to Khamala, Ruto may have left the two leaders out of his group if they are not careful to keep up with the president’s power.

Mudavadi and Wetang’ula are among the beneficiaries of the victory of Ruto 2022, since they were entrusted with the main position.

For example, Wetang’ula is the third in the country’s leadership in the climax, following the President and his deputy.

Mudavadi, on the other hand, is similar to the Prime Minister, the largest in the cabinet.

Why Wetang’ula, Mudavadi must show their political potential

Khamala says such benefits will cease if they do not participate in their political game to encourage Ruto to join them.

According to Khamala, the president always calculates and so he would want a vibrant partner who can follow his ways.

He says Musalia and Wetang’ula are far from courage, despite being considered as senior leaders in western Kenya.

Khamala, speaking at the Kiluhya language radio, advised them to connect in western Kenya to bring political logic to Ruto.

“If they do not join others like Wycliffe Oparanya to build our structure from the west, so that we go to Raila Odinga or Ruto, we do it as a unified area; otherwise they will find nothing in the next government; they will not be considered chairman of the Board,” Khamala said.

The priest who turned into a politician saw that Ruto was focusing his direction in Nyanza, as evidenced by his recent proximity to the ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Khamala predicted the powers and privileges that now Mudavadi and Wetang’ula are waiting for Raila’s supporters after 2027.

“If they do not join, they will be irrelevant and unattractive because now Ruto is in contact with Raila. And Raila will come with great value because he has a faithful foundation. His word is good as a rule. The new 2027 era will have a new shape. Mwai Kibaki He had a new chapter in 2007, if it was 2007, unlike Prime Mudavadi2 today. 2027, Ruto will ask him about what he will bring to him, and he may not even receive his phones, ” Khamala said.

But even while Khamala was looking for his original place to impress Ruto, former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua recently took on the responsibility of warning the Luhya nation against performing the president and his remarks.

Why did Gachagua warn in western Kenya against Ruto

In recent days, the president has been visiting West Kenya with good things, appearing to be in the process of gaining the support of voters ahead of the 2027 elections.

Among its commitments are plans to revive Mumias’ sugar company, provide incentives for farmers to restore the operation of the factory, and to revive the sugar zone that is stabilizing in the area.

Gachagua said all of this was bait; He said they were just Ruto’s strategy to get 2027 votes before leaving the area when his second term started.

He felt that the style would be similar to that of Mount Kenya, in which the president camped in preparation for the 2022 vote before taking turns shortly after the swearing -in.
