Peter Salasya cursed the shooting of Kakamega teacher
Mumias East MP (MP) Peter Salasya criticized the evil act, expressing sadness and anger over the loss of a dedicated teacher and entrepreneur.
“I want to condemn the sad case that happened yesterday, where a teacher and businessman were shot and killed after making money from a bank in Mumias. Apparently he was tracked from the bank to where the attackers implemented their plan,” Salasya said in a video posted on his Facebook account.
He also called on law enforcement agencies to take immediate action, noting that the crime touched on the planned operation of the gangs.
“I call on the police to speed up and arrest those involved. We know that a certain gun has been used in several recent incidents of theft in this area,” he added.
Did the bank workers cooperate with the attackers?
Salasya also raised concerns about the possibility of cooperation between criminals and local people within financial institutions. He called on local banks to be more careful and to prioritize the safety of their customers especially when they were making a lot of money.
“These people are also cooperating. I want to question the bank – why don’t they care about the interests of their employees? They deal with millions of shillings, but they are paid nuts,” He said.
