A joint decision of the party’s top leadership was reached following a meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) in Elementaita Lodge in Naivasha.
Does Ford-Kenya get rid of Kenya first?
According to a Citizen Digital report, Ford-Kenya general secretary John Chikati confirmed the party had shared extensive consultations before resolving the resolution.
“NEC was determined that Ford-Kenya would not break. We will continue to be alive, alive and ready to build strategic alliances before the 2027 elections,” Said Chikati.

While signifying political readiness, the party announced that it would suspend candidates in the next by -elections following the re -formation of IEBC.

UDA and ANC to unite officially
Meanwhile, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and Amani National Congress (ANC) headed by the Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi They were officially linked to one political entity, according to Embu governor Cecily Mbarire.
He announced that the newly linked party would accept a new name, brand, and color, including the ANC identity symbols in its logo and its overall structure.
Mbarire also noted that the coalition would lead to significant changes in the party’s leadership and operations.
