Lucy Wamaitha, who disappeared on January 16, 2025, after a professional trip with her boss in Embu, was later found brutally murdered, with her dead body discovered in the Sagana River.

Speaking to Gikuyu Flavor Media, sad mother Nancy Mungai, said the funeral of her killed daughter was postponed so that other organs of her body would be searched.

Nancy said Lucy's remains will be brought to Montezuma Monalisa this week from Embu ahead of the funeral, which is expected to take place on Thursday, April 17.
