Eugene Wamalwa says Ruto thinking he will win 2027 is a bad dream, he is 'One Term'

Eugene Wamalwa, leader of the Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K), has suggested the formation of a strong political alliance that he believes will defeat President William Ruto in the 2027 general elections.

Wamalwa is looking forward to the union as a major army that will work to overthrow the government Ruto and take control of the country.

He explained that the coalition was primarily made up of leaders who played key roles in securing the late President's victory Mwai Kibaki In 2002 under the Kenya African National Union (KANU).

“We have learned from the past and we know that Ruto will try to divide us. Already some people are encouraged to leave their way, but we form a united team that will make sure Ruto fails in the first round in August 2027,” Wamalwa said in an interview with NTV On Monday, April 14.

The coalition includes senior people like Justin Muturi, Fred Matiang'i (former Minister of Home Affairs), and Martha Karua, and the working group to restore the movement of the 2002 political alliance.

“Ruto is a student of former president Daniel Arap Moi. When the opposition merged in 2002, they were able to defeat Moi. We bring together the 2002 team to rebuild 2027,” Wamalwa added.

Other prominent leaders in the coalition are former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua and Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, among others.

“We have a man from Nyeri, Gachagua, our mother Martha KaruaWe have Kalonzo from Ukraine, JB Muturi, and Fred Matiang'i joins our team, you see the 200 team coming together, and we are building the NARC time of 2002, ” He added.

Wamalwa also expressed his concern for the struggle facing Kenyans, especially under high tax burden.

“You can suffer today because of tariffs, June is approaching, and more tariffs are coming,” He said. But I want to tell Kenyans not to lose hope. We gather a better alliance that will bring Ruto home.

Other news, the Jubilee party, led by retired President Uhuru Kenyatta, officially approved Matiang'i as the presidential flag of the presidential election in the 2027 general election.

This came after Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni, speaking on Saturday, January 25 in Narok County, announcing that Matiang'i had the necessary leadership qualities to remove Ruto, adding that the united opposition would significantly reduce Ruto's position.

Kioni emphasized that the party has full confidence in their candidate and urges Kenyans, especially from Mount Kenya, to support the integrated leadership and support the Matiang'i campaign across the country.
