Getrude John claimed to have paid the man to a university fee which is approximately TZS 3.5 million (KSh 169,113). However, he left her as soon as she got a bank job.
Why did the Tanzanian woman pay Ramdhani a school fee?
Getrude explained that he met the man, Ramadan, in 2009 when he was still a high school student.
He explained that they had died for two years and started living together in 2011, despite not having much money.
“I was a regular employee at the time, and he worked as a security guard. He spoke to me and said he wanted to go to university because he had passed his high school exams. I agreed,” he said.
The discouraged woman noted that the first year of Ramadan university went well, but she faced financial challenges when she started her second year.
“I went to work and took a loan of TZS 600,000 (Ksh 28,990) to continue his studies. All the while, I did extra work to meet the needs of the family and even gave him money to publish notes until he finished his studies,” he claimed.

What happened after Ramadan got a job?
Getrude explained that the father of his two children got a job in 2013, and life was good in the first six months.
“He changed a few months later and began to despise me, saying he was tired of living with a student who left seventh grade and a black man because he had found a man of his league,” he noted.
He also added that he did not know how much he had, since he kept everything secret.
He eventually drove the woman and their children out of their house, leading to a serious case in court.
“Even after the court decided that he had to provide assistance to his children, he left and even accused me of stealing his household items,” Getrude explained.
The mother of two said that she was disappointed in the relationship but only wanted the man to come out and help his children.
“I took him to the children's office again, and after being called, he threatened me, saying he would do something if I didn't stop bothering him. I even went to his branch manager to talk to him, but it all didn't succeed,” he said.
Getrude mentioned that he had gone through many serious things in the relationship and would not be interested in Ramadan.
“The only strength I have is to raise my children. I do not want him to be returned.
