Francis Ogolla: An investigation report said the cause of a helicopter accident that killed the KDF chief

A helicopter that killed the Chief of Kenya's Defense Force (CDF) Francis Ogolla suffered an engine error shortly before the accident, a report by the investigative team revealed.

Seeking to cancel the belief that the Bell Huey helicopter (Reg Kaf 1501) was in the past, the investigative board created by the defense ministry found that the aircraft had no technical problems reported and that it was used for the service of celebrities not mentioned a few days before the fatal accident.

He was buried at his home in Siaya County on April 21, 2024, three days after the accident.

The 62 -year -old official left the widow Aileen Ogolla, and their two children, Joel Rabuku and Lorna Omondi Ogolla.

Ogolla's trip to the Kenyan army began in 1984 when he joined the Kenyan military as a second -class lieutenant.
