Gatanga, Murang'a: One strong family in Gatanga, Murang'a County, has reportedly canceled the dowry session of their daughter after the bridegroom's family allegedly delayed the occasion.

Several minutes after the scheduled time, the bridegroom's family was told that they were late by the event that was expected to be canceled.
“We are all late, why are we here just being told we are late? You push us a lot, and I refuse. How are we late?” Asked one old man.
The sitting women wondered what was happening and why the whole event was interrupted.
