Meanwhile, former Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala claimed that 15 students from Butere Girls' High School had disappeared.
In a telephone interview with Citizen TV, Malala claimed that the students disappeared shortly after leaving the festival hall, demanding teachers and security officials search for them quickly.
Chaos erupted after Butere Girls Drama club students refused to submit their complex drama. Police used tear gas to disperse the students and a group of Kenyans who were protesting against the president Ruto.
Malala, who had previously been arrested by the police, praised the students for standing firm despite efforts to destroy their show.
