The politician narrated the crisis he went through, claiming he was kidnapped, tortured in the forest and deprived of basic rights such as food, water, legal assistance, or officially charged with any offense.

Malala, who also served as Secretary -General of the Party UDAhe was arrested in Nakuru while attending the national drama where the “Echoes of War” drama played by Butere girls caused political tensions and chaos.

The series of incidents began when he was arrested by officials he identified as a Criminal Investigation Department (DCI).

“I was kidnapped last night and turned around all night by officials DCI They had locked me in the boot of the Subaru car, then took me into the forest. We started at the Nakuru police station, then they took me out of the police station in the forest, which I did not know his name, ” He said.

Malala explained that she was handed over to unknown people in different uniforms at midnight.

Later, he was transferred to the Eldama Ravine police station, where he claimed to be detained without communication, without food, without water, and without permission to meet with his lawyers.

“At six o'clock at night, people whose names I don't know, dressed in different uniforms and used a different car, took me from there to Eldama Ravine police station. Subaru, and turned me around the night in the forest, ” He explained bitterly.

Malala did not hesitate to strongly condemn the way she was arrested, saying it was unconstitutional and shameful to the so -called democratic nation.

Malala's arrest was resolved during a massive conflict over the government's alleged attempt to prevent the presentation of the Echoes of War at the National Drama Festival in Nakuru.
