Why was Patrick Matasi suspended?

Matasi was suspended by the Kenyan Football Federation (FKF) after a video allegedly showing him planning to cheat the results of the match.

Videos allegedly for the long -standing goalkeeper Harambee Stars sparked serious criticism, forcing FKF to take action immediately. Kakamega goalkeeper Homeboyz was temporarily suspended for 90 days as an investigation to determine the authenticity of the video was underway.

“The Kenyan Football Federation (FKF) has temporarily suspended goalkeeper Patrick Matasi to take part in all FKF's 90 -day tournament, following concerns raised and distributed by videos proposing the possibility of playing matches,” read the FKF statement.

Patrick's penal

The penalty has now been removed after the 37 -year -old was brought to court. Apparently by Flashscore, Judge Sn Mbungi of the Kakamega High Court ordered the suspension of the tasks to be removed after FKF failed to respond to preliminary requests.

“I am satisfied that the application was submitted properly to the complainant. for that request. ”

Judge Mbungi also said that the FKF had 30 days to answer the case and would be mentioned on June 4.

When Alvy Jones defended the Tasi,

“Matasi is right and the FKF was wrong and still wrong. Any suspension or ban should be implemented after the investigation is completed and the results should be largely proved that the defendant is guilty. Players cannot be suspended or banned for alleged claims.”
