All six of them died when they returned home to Limuru, Kiambu County, coming from a memorial service of the late Pastor Kahure in Mirera.

The seventh late, Limwell, the son of home worker Francis, was buried earlier for the reasons explained by his mother.

“Existing leaders comforted the family and called on all road users to be more cautious and to regard the issue of road safety as a personal responsibility, with respect to traffic rules to help reduce road accidents,” wrote a Facebook user, ROP Kiptoo.

Among the leaders present at the event were Gilgil MP, Martha Wangari, Naivasha MP Jayne Kihara, and Nakuru County women's representative, Liza Chelule.

Politician Jayne Kihara expressed his deep sadness to the family left by their loved ones and wrote a touching message.

“The pain of losing six family members through a road accident is very serious. My prayer is that the Almighty God continues to comfort the Rubian family at this very difficult time,” He said.
