The family, which included a couple and their two children, was found on Tuesday morning, April 8, by Tsavo Trust pilot Nick Haller near the Kabaguchi Ranger camp, located in the far -reaching area of Yatta Plateau, about 50 kilometers from their planning.
Haller, who was conducting aerial investigations, quickly landed his helicopter and confirmed that all four family members were not injured and were in good health.

Is it? How did the husband, wife and children disappear from the Tsavo East Game Reserve?
The family had entered the Tsavo East National Park on Saturday, April 5 at 11:00 pm through the Manyani gate, with plans to camp for two nights at the Luggards Falls special camp.
They were scheduled to get out of the garden through the Prayer gate by Monday evening, April 7.
Preliminary reports indicate that their car worked without motion after leaving the path they had planned while running the game. Their decision to stay with the car played an important role in their successful rescue.
KWS applauded Haller's great attention and dedication to all the teams involved in the rescue.
“This successful operation focuses on the power of Kenya's emergency response protocols and the value of cooperation between organizations. We applaud the high focus of the pilot Nick Haller and the commitment to all the teams involved in the rescue,” The statement added.
The family is currently undergoing medical examination and is expected to be reunited with their loved ones soon.
